About Connection Spectrum
Our Mission
Our mission at Connection Spectrum is to create opportunities for meaningful connections through inclusive social activities and events. We proudly serve middle and high school students with IEPs or 504 plans, as well as young adults in transition programs ages 18-22.
We address the unique challenges individuals with disabilities face in building relationships and developing essential social skills. Recognizing gaps in support after leaving the school system, we strive to provide a supportive environment where participants can enhance their social skills, form meaningful relationships, and thrive both personally and professionally.
While our events are hosted in the western suburbs, we welcome participants from any location. We also encourage family members and guardians to participate and get involved, fostering a network of support and shared experiences.

Our History
Established in 2024, Connection Spectrum was founded by educators who recognized the unique needs of students, families, and individuals with disabilities they have served for over two decades. Our mission is to ensure that individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to lead fulfilling lives, including building meaningful social relationships with peers in community-based settings.
